Sadly I know very little about this Uncle. He passed before I was born.
My mother, his sister-in-law had said he was a great guy.
He was married to my Aunt Bill (Willie Maude)on March 6, 1921 and they had 3 children, but still managed to also take in my Grandmother and her youngest child to live with them, after his father-in-law died in 1934. They had been in the Buttonwillow (Kern County) area at that time.
1940 they were all in Blythe, Riverside, California where he worked at a gas station. Not sure if he was also farming.
Dave passed away from a sudden heart attack or pulmonary embolism at the young age of 42, while talking with family after having gallbladder surgery.
