Mary Frances Burney, 84, of San Diego died Friday. She was born in Escondido and was a schoolteacher for the San Diego Unified School District. She was a member of the Social Service Auxiliary and Young Ladies Institute.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanette Burney; sister, Collette Ford; and brother, Donald Larzalere.
Visitation 5-7pm tomorrow, with rosary at 7pm, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 4540 El Cerrito Drive, San Diego. Mass 11am Friday at the church. Entombment Holy Cross Catholic Mausoleum, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.
