Son of Asa G. and Margaret E. (Robinson) McCrary. Husband of Catherine Carmassi (later Smith) and Grace E. (Kirkpatrick), whom he married in 1940 in Reno, NV. Died of a heart attack at age 49.

Final rites will be held to-
morrow at 11 AM in the
George L. Klumpp Funeral
Home for Leonard Grant Mc-
Crary, 49, a native of New-
castle, Placer County, who had
lived in West Sacramento,
Yolo County, since 1940. Bur-
ial will be in the Newcastle
Cemetery.

McCrary died Saturday in a
hospital of a heart ailment. His
home was at 1813 Michigan
Boulevard.

McCrary was employed on
construction jobs in Superior
California counties for a num-
ber of years when he was a
young man and then he
worked for Sacramento firms
as an electrician. For the last
five years he had been a main-
tenance man with the state
buildings and ground division.

He was the husband of
Grace E.; stepfather of Mrs.
Mary Elizabeth Davies of West
Sacramento and Mrs. Evelyn
Bass of Sacramento; brother
of Robert of Loomis, Placer
County; Lafayette of West
Sacramento; Benjamin of Car-
michael; Glenn of Redding,
Shasta County; Mrs. Ruth Hur-
ley and Mrs. Hazel Tierney of
Sacramento and Mrs. Beatrice
Cathey of Carson City, Nev.,
and the grandfather of four.
