He was born on March 29, 1935, in Prairie du Chien, the son of Jack and Mae (Cox). He married Judith A. Campbell on July 28, 1956, at St. Gabriel's Church in Prairie du Chien. John was a route deliveryman for Schoep's Ice Cream in Prairie du Chien for 39 years until his retirement.
He is survived by his son, of Green Bay; his twin sister, of Prairie du Chien; along with two grandchildren. His loving wife of 50 years, Judith A. Feeney; his parents; and a son, Scott preceded him in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at 11 a.m. at ST. GABRIEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien. Friends may call on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the GARRITY FUNERAL HOME in Prairie du Chien.
