Eugene Albert Crabtree,devoted husband,Father and Grandfather,age 87,passed away on July 15th,1998 in Salt Lake City,Utah.He was born on September 18th,1910 in Centerville,Utah to Albert William and BeatriceMaud Bennett
Crabtree.Eugene Married Maxine Bushnell on April the 5th,1937 in Meadow,Utah. Their Marriage was later solemizes in the Salt Lake Temple in 1946.
Eugene was a skilled diessel mechanic.His hobbies included hunting,fishing and camping.He enjoyed doing things with and for his family and spent countless hours serving his fellowman.He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.He served in numerous Leadership and teaching positions and enjoyed his calling in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Eugene is survived by his wife Maxine of 61 years and three children.Stephen(Annette)Crabtree, Geniel(John)Dixon,Lamont(Leslie)Crabtree;15 Grandchildren;8 Great-Grandchildren;brother,Walter Crabtree and sister,Margie Willoughby,both of Bakersfield,California.Preceeded in death by parents Albert and Beatrice;sister,Daisy Malone;brothers,Loggrand and Ted Crabtree,Grandchildren,Eugene and Maxine Dixon.
Funeral services were held on Monday,July 20th,1998 at 12 noon in the Salt Lake Second Ward,704 South oo East in Salt lake City.Friends and family called Sunday,July 19th,1998 from 6-8 P.M at Larkin Mortuary,260 East South Temple,and at the Church Monday one hour prior to Services.Burial took place in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery located at 1950 East 10600 South in Sandy,Utah after Funeral Services.
