She was born March 8, 1928 in Billett, IL to Aaron and Grace (Nelson) Faith. She married Arvel Ash, and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Bridgeport, the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, and worked in Olney at the Brown Shoe Factory.
Frances is survived by two very close friends whom she considered family, Ruth and Tommy Moore of rural Sumner. She was preceded in death by her husband (Arvel Ash), her parents (Aaron and Grace Faith), one sister (Dorothy Wright), and several siblings in infancy.
Funeral services for Frances N. Ash were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation was from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Burial will take place in Billett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bridgeport Senior Citizens through the funeral home.
