Herman L. Krahn

Herman L. Krahn, 78, formerly of Wayside, died Tuesday at a local hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1898 in the Town of Morrison to the late Herman and Caroline Uecker Krahn. Mr. Krahn married Ottilia Stever in 1922 in Morrison. She preceded him in death in 1938. In October, 1943, he married Anna Brandt in Wayside. She preceded him in death in 1970.

Survivors include two songs, Wilbert, Rt. 3, Denmark; Meinhardt, Green Bay; one daughter, Mrs. Victor (Adela) Laabs, Rt. 2, Greenleaf; one brother, Henry, Rt. 2, Greenleaf; one sister, Mrs. Albert (Louise) Loppnow, Wayside; two stepsons, Herbert Brandt, Wrightstown; Elmer Brandt, Reedsville; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Walter (Loretta) Boettcher, Green Bay; Mrs. Victor (Bernadine) Albers, Hilbert; Mrs. Hubert (Laverne) Kiekhaefer, Rt. 2, Greenleaf; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, after 4 p.m. today until noon Friday and then at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside, until time of service. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Francis Camann officiating. Burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Morrison.
