House Jameson was an actor. He played parts in several movies, television shows and plays. He may be best known for voicing Sam Aldrich, the father of Henry Aldrich on the popular show, The Aldrich Family (1940-1954)radio show. He also appeared on over 300 episodes of radio's Crime Doctor Series from 1940 to 1947. His last appearance was in The Swimmer, a 1968 movie with Burt Lancanster.

His middle name was Baker, although he did not use it professionally.

He was the brother of Vida Jameson (1893-1900) and Malcolm R Jameson (1891-1945) Uncle to Malcolm MacGregor Jameson (1919-1997) and Vida Jameson Skinner (1916-1988); Great-Uncle to Marianna Samme (Skinner) Buck (1955-).
