Earnest David Bagwell, 67, Nashville, died Monday, September 20, 2010, at Southern Hills Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ed Evans officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bagwell was born July 14, 1943 in Montgomery County, son of the late Earnest Norris Bagwell and Mary Lou Perry Bagwell. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Clayton Bagwell.

Mr. Bagwell was retired from the American General Insurance Co. and a member of the First Seventh Day Adventist of Nashville.

He is survived by his wife Sally Oliver Bagwell, children Stanley David Bagwell, Michael Scott Bagwell, Jodie Lynn (Scott) Bagwell, Allison Elizabeth Wyatt, and step-daughters Catrina Oliver of Hermitage and Nicole Oliver of Nashville. Other survivors include his sisters Bona (Bud) Perry of Clarkville, Willadean Albright of Gallatin, and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randy Grooms, Kevin Albright, Randy Bagwell, Jessie Holt, Scott Bagwell, William Knox, Danny Nix, and Landon Bagwell.
