Adeline L. Asbjornson, Ivanhoe, MN, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, at the age of 90 years, 6 months, and 19 days. She was born October 16, 1917, in Ivanhoe, the daughter of Walter J. and Oline Bang Asbjornson. She graduated from Ivanhoe High School in 1935, and was a secretary in Washington, D.C. from 1939 to 1968. Adeline and her sister, Mildred, returned to Ivanhoe in 1968 to spend their retirement years. Adeline was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading and food preparation.

She is survived by one nephew, Donald C. Asbjornson of Lincoln, NE; great nephews, Kevin D. Asbjornson of Denver, CO; Jon C. Asbjornson of Lincoln, NE; and David L. Asbjornson of Lincoln, NE; great nieces, Karen Ann (Dave) McConnell of Kearney, NE; Beth E. (Tim) Asbjornson-McCashland of Omaha, NE; and Janie M (Scott) Asbjornson-Haisch of Scottsdale, AZ; six great-great nieces and two great-great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Virgil, Wallace, and Carvel, and one sister, Mildred.
