Robert Keller Bowe, age 86, of Wayne, Ohio passed away Thursday (February 9, 2012) at Bowling Green Manor.
He was born on April 7, 1925 near Helena, Ohio to the late Wallace & Ruth (Keller) Bowe.
He married Helen E. Laderman on May 25, 1946 in Bradner, Ohio.
Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years Helen; sons, Larry L. (Deb) Bowe of Wayne, Jack L. (Joy) Bowe of Wayne, William G. Bowe of Cygnet, Mark E. (Kim) Bowe of Wayne; daughter, Becky J. (Joe) Dibling of Wayne; daughter-in-law, Elaine Bowe of Risingsun; sister, Marion Lufitz of Seal Beach, California; 14 grandchildren & 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, John R. Bowe; brothers, Vincent, Donald, Virgil "Jack"; sisters, Helen Loew & Doris Sabo Swope.
Bob worked for the town of Wayne for many years, was owner/operator of Midco Enterprises (a family construction company) and retired a cabinet maker having installed many kitchens around the Wayne area.
He was a life long member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bradner having also served on many committees at the church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday February 25, 2012 at St. James Lutheran Church in Bradner with Pastor Melanie Haack officiating. A visitation and fellowship luncheon will immediately follow in the Church hall.
Burial will be in Bradner Cemetery.
