Gladys Sorter Paul was the only surviving child of Ella Mae (McNitt) and Harry Sorter. Born February 21, 1901 she lived her entire life in Branch County. On February 24, 1924 she married Perry Paul with six children being born to this marriage. She was a member of the Coldwater Pilgrim Church. Gladys died on July 4, 1976 in Coldwater at the age of 75.
