Funeral for Homer Albion Quint, 81, retired owner of a poultry business, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hillside Chapel, Oregon City. Mr. Quint, 81, died Saturday at his West Linn home.
Born in Lawton, Okla., Mr. Quint had been a West Linn resident for 51 years. He served 20 years as chief of Rosemont Volunteer Fire Department and worked as a machinist in addition to running a poultry business.
He was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Portland.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; a son, Darrell A., of West Linn; three daughters, Ruth Reynolds, Redland, and Joyce Poyser and Marilyn Rabick, both of West Linn; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Camp Yamhill Scholarship Fund, Route 1, Box 90, Yamhill 97148.
