Cleda Mae Aaron, 82, of Colmesneil, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Egypt Cemetery near Colmesneil. Officiating will be Brother Buddy McDaniel. Visitation was held on Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Cleda Mae was born July 12, 1921 to Robert and Sarah Richmond Perkins in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She was formerly of Baytown and had resided for the last few years in Colmesneil. She was a retired nurses-aid and attended Aline Baptist Church in Colmesneil. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Aaron in 1987, daughter, Myrtle Aaron and two of her sons, Herman Aaron, Jr. and Roy Aaron. She is survived by her sons, Tommy Aaron of Colmesneil and Al Aaron of Crosby; daughter and son-in-law, Edith and William Carnley of Colmesneil; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Mary Perkins and Charles and Ilene Perkins all of Williamsburg, KY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Della and Tim Meadows and Ella and Wayne Bryant all of Williamsburg, KY; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
