Grandma died when I was only 1 year old so I didn't have an opportunity to know her. I truly wish that I had.

Mrs. Esther Eileen Jones, 52, of 202 Dacus St., died Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Porter Loring Chapel, the Rev. C. O. Boatman officiating. Burial will be in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
She was born in Indiana and had lived in San Antonio 23 years.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Fred P. Jones, San Antonio; one son, Milton A. Jones; three daughters, Mrs. M. R. Ackermann, Mrs. Fred A. Peters and Miss Evelyn P. Jones all of San Antonio; and seven grandchildren, also all of San Antonio.
