Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Chalk Bluff Baptist Church, Rev. W.Y. Pond and Dr. Chet C. Henson officiating, burial in Moore Cemetery.
Survivors: Three sons, E.P. Blackwell of Buffalo, Texas., J.D. Blackwell of Waco, and Alex Blackwell of Waco; two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Belle Sorrells and Mrs. Grace James, both of Waco, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Blackwell was born in Alabama, but had been a resident of Waco for the past 80 years.
Active Pallbearers: Henry Robinson, Robert McBride, R.M. Yowell, Jack Hill, Bud McKerall, Rufus Carpenter.
