Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Mount Moriah in Pulaski for William Thomas Willoughby, aged 20, who died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon of a heart attacked at the naval base at Jacksonville, Fla.
Young Thomas was a seaman first class, and had served in the navy for about three years. He was the brother of David Willoughby and Misses Edna and Elizabeth Willoughby of Columbia and frequently visited them here. He was borned and raised in Pulaski.
Other survivors are his father Nathan Willoughby of Pulaski, four other brothers, Norris Willoughby of the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor, Edward Willoughby of the U.S. Army at Los Angeles, Cal., and Alvin and Bobby Willoughby of Pulaski, and two other sisters, Misses Jean and Jane Willoughby of Pulaski.
The members of the American Legion Post at Pulaski served as pallbearers.
