ADAMS, Mary Halsie OBITUARY: The Pulaski Citizen, 13 May 1981
Mrs. Mary Halsie Adams, 85, of Pulaski died Monday, May 11 in Maury County Hospital, Columbia. Funeral rites were held at 10:00 a. m. at Carr and Erwin Chapel by the Rev. Clarence K. Stewart. Interment was in Lynnwood Cemetery, Lynnville.
A native of Giles County, Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late Tom and Florence Taylor Willoughby. She was married to the late E. D. Adams.
Survivors include three sons, Tom Adams and D. M. Adams, Pulaski and Edward Adams, Campbellsville; six daughters, Mrs. Sallie Poarch, Cornersville, Mrs. Mary Darnell, Nashville, Mrs. Florence Adams, Mrs. Lucille Williams and Mrs. Clara Francis, Pulaski and Mrs. Ruth Glendeaning, Biddeford, Maine; a brother, William Willoughby, Elkton; 37 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
