Patricia A. (Becker) Delgobbo, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY, following a brief illness. Born on August 16, 1938 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lester Becker and the late Dorothy (Wolfe) Wheeler.
Mrs. Delgobbo came to Niagara Falls, NY as a child and attended local schools. On August 13, 1957, Pat, as she was known by family and friends, married Anthony N. Delgobbo, Sr. in the former Sacred Heart Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Delgobbo predeceased her on January 20, 1987. She was very generous in contributing to charities and organizations. Mrs. Delgobbo enjoyed bingo, crafts, baking and especially baking cookies for family and friends. Pat was known for her "friendship bread."
Mrs. Delgobbo is survived by seven children, John (Valerie) Delgobbo of Ft. Mill, SC, Debra (Edmund) Passero of the Town of Niagara, NY, Nicholas (Sally) Delgobbo of the Town of Niagara, NY, Anthony N. Delgobbo, Jr. of Niagara Falls, NY, Cynthia (Jennifer) Delgobbo of Ft. Mill, SC, Leonard (Tammy) Delgobbo of Niagara Falls, NY and Patricia (Frank Fiori) Delgobbo of Niagara Falls, NY; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pat is also survived by one brother, Leonard (Emmaline) Becker of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Mary (late James) Reasinger of Niagara Falls, NY and Dorothy (Angelo) Ciraolo of the Town of Niagara, NY; and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by twin sons, Louis and Angelo Delgobbo and one brother, Peter (Janet of Georgia) Becker.
