Born in Spring Bay, Ill., March 9, 1878, Mr. Meister had lived in Topeka for five years. He was a retired employee of the John Morrell Co.
Survivors include two sons, John C. Meister, 706 Tyler, and Adam C. Meister, of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Julia Maxwell of Iola.
Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
