Fred was my wonderful Grandfather.. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 22, 1903.. His Parents were Daniel Gilmartin and Mary Hartnett and He had a brother William and a sister Agnes.. He was in the National Guard for four years and He was become a New York Policeman for 25 yrs .. He married My Grandmother Helen McNamara on March 27, 1927.. They had four children David, Rick and Matthew and Maureen ( My Mom ), 19 Grandchildren and 35 Great-Grandchildren.. My Brother Rick called My Grandfather to asked him to come and visit him and He told him No, not today He was not feel good.. He went peacefully to sleep in his chair at his home.. He was very close to be with God.. He was loving and care person .. We missed him alots. Cause of death: Heart Attack
