Frances Abberley, 88, of Pawnee died at 6:50 p.m. Friday at Doctors Hospital. She was born July 17, 1903, in Pawnee, the daughter of Frank and Mina Gatton Miller. She married George L. Abberly Sr. in 1924; he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two sons, James and George L. Jr.; four brothers; and two sisters.
Mrs. Abberley was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Altar Society, Pawnee. She was a volunteer for many years for Daily Bread.
Surviving are one daughter, Mildred Henry of Pawnee; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Miller of Springfield and Carl Miller of Santa Cruz, Calif.; two sisters, Madelyn Higgason of Pawnee and Beatrice Zurhorst of Ionia, Mich.; several nieces and nephews.
