Charlotte E. André, 79, of Butler died Monday at her home.Born Feb. 7, 1926, in Butler, she was a daughter of Aloysius and Charlotte Reott Bennis.She had been a teachers' aide at St. Michael and St. Paul schools in Butler for 25 years and retired in 1991.Mrs. André was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, the St. Paul Guild, the Cana Club, the Century Club and the Tuesday Musical Club.She was a classical pianist and an accomplished musician, having studied piano and organ since she was a child.She is survived by her husband, Robert Linn André, whom she married April 25, 1946; three daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Karen) Fleming of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Wayne (Michele) Flatt of Cranberry Township and Mrs. Bruce (Charlene) Kerr of Butler; and two sisters, Patricia Cramer and Mrs. Joseph (Jo Ann) Tomasovic, both of Butler. Also surviving are five grandsons and two granddaughters.André - Friends of Charlotte E. André, who died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Thursday at the church.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler Area Visiting Nurses Association, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001; or to the Hospice Program of the Butler V.N.A., 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.Please visit the funeral home Web site at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
