Mrs. Mary N. Harney, 61, 821 N. Gavin, died today shortly after she was admitted to Ball Hospital. Mrs. Harney was a native of Windfall and had resided in Muncie 33 years. She had been employed as a commercial ironer at the Superior Laundry the past three years.

Surviving are her husband, Selby F. Harney; five daughters, Mrs. William Belt, Mrs. Norman Aker, Mrs. Frank Hurst and Mrs. Lioniel Martin, all of Muncie, and Mrs. Charles Burke, Sharpesville; five sons, James W., Frederick (Roscoe), and Kenneth L., Muncie, Selby J., with the U.S. Air Force in Viet Nam, and Clifford, with the U.S. Air Force in Alaska; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Frye, Mrs. Jenny Gillman and Mrs. Frances Lightfoot, Anderson, and Mrs. Dorothy Burton, Alexandria; one brother, Frederick Van Horn, Muncie; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Parson Mortuary. Rev. Charles Jennings, pastor of the Eden Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-4 and from 7-9 p.m. Friday and before services Saturday.
