Floyd A. Cheek, 82, of Cincinnati, formerly of Northern Kentucky, died Thursday at Three Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Miami Heights, Ohio. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired carpenter.
Survivors include sons, Frank Cheek of Arcata, Calif., Robert Cheek of Highland Heights and Gary Cheek of Lauderhill, Fla.; a daughter, Dee Yi of Cincinnati; a brother, General Cheek of Chatham, Ill.; sisters, Emily Osborne of Baxter, Verda Bedwell of Westminster, Md., Dolly Strunk of Coldiron, Nannette Baker of Pleasant Hill, Calif., Kathleen Partin of Middlesburg and Lillian Seipp of Baltimore; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Radel Funeral Home, Highland Heights, with visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum, Ft. Thomas.
