David Ridgely Jr., 79, of Wellsburg, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at Ann's Country Retreat in Wellsburg.
He was born December 22, 1924 in Tridelphia, WV., a son of the late David Clarence and Jessie Leona Miner Ridgely. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Zimmerman Ridgely on January 17, 1997.
He retired from the former C&P Telephone Company, now known as Verizon. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. David was United Methodist by faith and a member of Verizon Pioneers.
Surviving are his daughter, Mary Jo "Pat" Ramsey and husband, Rick, of Wellsburg; three sons, David W. Ridgely and wife, Joyce, Terrence Ridgely and wife, Eileen, both of Wellsburg and Keith Ridgely and wife, Linda, of Cockeysville, MD; one sister, Edith Folmar of Wheeling, WV.; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
