Mrs. Mary Viola Florence Bowser, aged 69 years of Worthington RD 2 died at 6pm, Tuesday, December 31 1963 in the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Bowser was born February 10, 1894 at Bagdad, the daughter of Samuel E. and Carrie Viola (Rowe) Slagle.
Surviving are her husband, Lee W. Bowser; 12 children Loran Bowser of Worthington, Richard Bowser of West Middlesex, Floyd Bowser of Kittanning RD 5, Jack Bowser of Butler, Andrew Bowser Mrs. Nick (Jean) Fryling, Mrs. Joseph (Florence) Goodgasell all of Grand Rapids Michigan, Mrs. Sylvia Wolfe of New Kensington, Finley Bowser of Transfer, Mrs. Ivan Violet Hooks, of Worthington, Mrs Walter (Phyllis) Anthony of Timblin and Leslie Dale Bowser Kittanning RD 6.
Fifty Four grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; three brothers, A.A. Slagle of Kittanning; Lea Slagle of Kittanning RD 6 and Cecil Slagle of Kittanning, Five sisters, Mrs. Ellis (Daisy) Waugaman of Cleveland Ohio, Mrs. Earl (Nettie) Beers of Worthington, Mrs. Herbert (Rhetta) Toy, and Mrs. James (Ida) Toy both of Kittanning RD 6, and Mrs. John (Sarah) Morrow of Kittanning.
BOWSER-Friends may call at the Merwin Funeral Home, Kittanning until noon Friday when the body will be removed to the First Church of God, Woodward Ave. for viewing from 1-2 pm the time of service.
Rev. Charles E. Strater, pastor of the church will officate at the service.
Interment will be in the Lawn haven Burial Estates.
