Tishomingo: Ruby Lea (Turner) Gray, 82, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Ardmore.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 20, 2012, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home, with Rev. Randall Chapman officiating. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.
Ruby was born Sunday, September 8, 1929 in Marlow, to Amos Daniel Turner and Lona Arbell (Spencer) Turner. Ruby attended school in Marlow and Bray. She worked at various jobs throughout her life, including the broom factory. Ruby married Doug Gray on June 28, 1992 in Comanche. She enjoyed sewing and craft projects. She made dolls, pillows, hat bands, potholders and blankets. She loved traveling and playing with her grandchildren. Ruby was busy doing something all of the time.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, son, Wayne Deal, daughter, Elizabeth Deal, brother, Cecil Turner.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
