prepared for college, principally at Kimball Union Academy, in Plainfield, N. H., under the tuition of Rev. Israel Newell. After graduating, he studied law with Hon. Joseph Bell, of Haverhill, N. H., and was admitted to the bar, in September, 1830. In November, 1830, he commenced practice as partner with John Nelson, Esq., of Haverhill, and continued business with him until February, 1832, when he removed to Lebanon, N. H. In July, 1833, he removed to Hanover, N. H., where he has since practised his profession.
Mr. Blaisdell was appointed Treasurer of Dartmouth College, in August, 1835. He was a Representative from Hanover, in the New Hampshire Legislature, for the years 1839, 1840, and 1841.
