Mrs. Mabel G. Albaugh, 85, formerly of Scio and more recently of Cameron Park, California, died last Wednesday morning in Canterbury Nursing Home at Alliance. Born April 8, 1903 in New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Cora (Slates) Nupp and was retired from the former Scio Pottery Co. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E., in 1970.
Surviving are one son and four daughters, Robert Albaugh of Cadiz, Betty Mahoney of Canton, Freda Lawthers of Phoenix, Az., Irma Jane Cox of Cameron Park and Mariann Crowl of Sacramento, California; one sister, Dorothy Stine of Sebring and 10 grandchildren. Two sons are deceased. Services were held Saturday in the Purviance Funeral Home at Scio with Rev. Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
