Camp Verde resident Joseph "Blackie" Garcia Alders died March 16, 1995. A native Arizonian, Mr. Alders was born in Miami. He was 78 years old when he died at home.
His parents are Jose Maximo Alvarez and Maria Cuen Alvarez

Mr. Alders was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was employed as an iron worker and belonged to the ironworkers Local 75 and the Catholic faith. He was also on the
board of directors for Compute Easy International of Tempe and the Arizona disk and fulfillment of Mesa.
Mr. Alders is survived by his wife, Barbara;
daughters, Maria Alders Burns (Fred), Theresa Alders Wier (Steve), Kathleen Kelly and Christina Alders Sousa (Abraham), Lucile Cobb (Charles), Tommye Ruth Selig (George),
and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held March 25, 3 p.m. at 7540 w. John Cabot, Glendale, Ariz.
At one of his daughter home.
