Don Clark, the 3rd of 6 children, married "Bertie Jo" Duree on July 9, 1947 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They had 4 children: Lavern "Vern" Edward Clark (1949-2005); Jerry Lee Clark (1951-2017); Kenneth Duree Clark (1951- ); and Gloria Rae {Clark} Williams (1953 - ). Don served with honor in the 8th Army-Air Corps in World War II, stationed in England. He was a ball turret gunner on the B-17 bombers over Germany, completing 22 missions, and earned several medals for his heroism & service. Cause of death was lung cancer.
