Gaylon Doyle Dorris, 66, of Rector died February 18, 2012, at Rector Nursing and Rehab.
He was born November 10, 1945, in Rector to the late Walter (Buster) and Vera "Reynolds" Dorris. He was married to Sandra Phillips in 1965 to this union two daughters were born.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a Musician by trade.
Survivors include daughters, Dena Green and husband Amos of Rector and Tammy Johnson and husband Dale of Piggott; six grandchildren, Amanda Green, Derek Green, Jade Green, Daniel Johnson and wife Alex, Kevin Johnson and Kalon Johnson; six great-grandchildren Hayden, Dakota, Colby, Phoenix, Aubrey, and Charlie and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Brother Jimmy Parrish officiating. Interment will be at Purcell Cemetery west of Rector immediately after the services.
Pallbearers include Daniel Johnson, Kalon Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Derek Green, Don Pickler and T.C.
