Walter D. HUDKINS, 69, Chicago, formerly of Kewanna, died at 6 a.m. Sunday in the Mercy hospital, Chicago. He was born May 15, 1909 in Kewanna to John and Clara MARTINDALE HUDKINS. He was retired from the Andy Frain company, Chicago. Surviving are a brother, Dale HUDKINS, Knox; a sister, Mrs. Mary CAVARN, Irons, Mich.; two sons, Walter and Kenneth [HUDKINS], both of Elkhart; a daughter, Mrs. LeAnn MOYER, Phoenix, Ariz., and five grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Harrison-Metzger chapel, Kewanna, with the Rev. Robert KIRTLAN officiating. Burial will be in the Kewanna I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday.
