Marie Partin, 81, died at 8:32 a.m. March 22, 2008, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Beaverdam.
She was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Antioch, Texas, to Columbus Oscar and Beulah Ritter Westbrook. On Jan. 2, 1946, she married Troy Partin, who died March 5, 2008.
Mrs. Partin enjoyed sewing and cooking. She also enjoyed helping family, friends and strangers. She was a professional seamstress and had been a waitress and worked at Weatherseal in Ottawa.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Jan) Partin, of Hendersonville, N.C., and Donald (Mary) Partin, of Vaughnsville; five grandchildren, Michelle (Brian) Benko, of Aurora, Colo., Laurie (Clete) Nartker, of Columbus Grove, Denise Partin, of Seattle, Brett (Tiffany) Partin, of Cincinnati, and Matt (Kelly) Partin, of Bowling Green; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Pickens; and a brother, Harold Westbrook.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove. The Rev. Mike Downing will officiate. Burial will be in Vaughnsville Cemetery.
