OBITUARY :
MADELINE (GUTHRIE) FULLER, formerly of Oak Hill Avenue, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Coffman Nursing Home in Hagerstown.

She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from West Virginia University. Upon graduation, she taught school for several years before staying home to raise her family of four children, later returning to her teaching career at Woodland Way Elementary and Paramount schools.

An avid knitter and sewer, Madeline was a longtime member of Fountain Head County Club, AAUW and PEO, and also volunteered with many local organizations.

She is survived by one sister and two brothers; daughters, Marsha L. Fuller of Hagerstown and Leah A. Fuller of Corona del Mar, Calif.; and sons, Clayton S. Fuller of Del Mar, Calif., and Mark G. Fuller, Wexford, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Brandon King Fuller, in 1980.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, with the Revs. Steven Johns-Boehme and Fred Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church, 1345 Potomac Ave., Hagerstown MD 21742.
