Robert Eesley, age 79, of 1920 27th St., Two Rivers, died Friday afternoon, Feb. 17, 2012, at his residence.

Robert was born on May 26, 1932, in Presque Isle, Wis., a son of the late Robert and Agnes (Sokoloski) Eesley. He attended school in Presque Isle and then served his country in the U.S. Army. On March 1, 1978, he married Lorraine Paul. Bob was employed at Hamilton Industries for over 40 years. He enjoyed gambling trips, playing poker, taking care of his lawn and garden, listening to polka music and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife: Lorraine Eesley; her children: Al and Julie Paul, Green Bay; Darlene and Mike Witcpalek, Kewaunee; Cheryl and Terry LaTour, Kewaunee; Joe Paul, Luxemburg; and Barb and Brian Wachowski, Two Rivers; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Todd (Sally) Eesley and Terry (Mary Sue) Eesley, all of Two Rivers; three sisters: Gail Boettcher, Florida; Evie (Ron) Bieker, DeForest; and Pat Sacony and Randy, Illinois. He is further survived by two sisters-in-law: LuAnne Eesley and Joyce Eesley, both of Milwaukee; a brother-in-law: Ron Pilzak, Two Rivers; Lorraine's family: Clayton and Maryann Meyer, Kewaunee; Janet Parkos, Kewaunee; Carol and Bob Ledvina, Green Bay; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife: Judy; two brothers: Lyle and Rick Eesley; one sister: Loretta Pilzak; brother-in-law: Harlan Boettcher; and a grandson: Matthew LaTour.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Military honors will be accorded by members of American Legion Post #165 and VFW Post #1248 of Two Rivers.
