Born Oct. 12, 1942, in Hagerstown, he was the son of H. Elmo and Eileen Anthony Angle of Waynesboro, Pa.
He retired in 1993 from the James River Corp. in Chambersburg, Pa., after 26 years.
He was a member of Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, near Chambersburg, New Covenant Sunday School class and served as a church usher. He served on the Roxbury Camp Meeting Kitchen Committee for six years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Dorine Kay Socks Angle, whom he married Sept. 14, 1962; one son, Rick A. Angle of Waynesboro; one granddaughter whom he helped raise, Brandie N. Gauger, at home; two brothers, Ernest Angle and Steve Angle, both of Waynesboro; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Kay Gauger, in 1982.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, 24 E. Kauffman Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Ky Searcy and Deacon Robert Crider will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, Pa.; and at the church Thursday at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund of the Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, 24 E. Kauffman Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201; or to the Oncology Dept. of Waynesboro Hospital, 501 E. Main St., Waynesboro, PA 17201.
