Mrs. Ellen Bardeen expires suddenly
Mrs. Ellen P. Bardeen, wife of C.W. Bardeen, prominent publisher in the city, died Thursday afternoon at her home, No. 1109 East Genesee street after a long illness. Mr. Bardeen had been ailing for three years, but up until a few hours before her death she was thought to be in good health. She was 70 years old.
Besides her husband she leaves two sons, Norman Bardeen of this city and Dr. Charles Bardeen of Madison, Wis.; also three daughters, the Misses Bertha and Ethel Bardeen and Mrs. David Atwater of Vicksburg, Mich. Funeral services will be held at her late home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
