William W. Ache, 71 architect here since 1921 and designer of 60 of the Southwest's finest fruit packing house, died Wednesday at his home, 301 N. Citrus Ave. Mr. Ache counted citrus fruit plants in Phoenix and Yuma, Ariz., Indio, Lindsay and Santa Barbara among his many projects. He had been a resident here since 1905 and was a member of the Masonic Order. He leaves his widow Pearl, a son Donald, a step-son, Thomas Guernsey; a step-daughter, Mrs.Jean Gallineau; two brothers, Irvin and Harry Ache, and 10 grandchildren. Services are pending at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
