Notes: Mrs. Rose E. Baehr, widow of a former Cleveland mayor, died Friday night at St. Mary's Hospital, Long Beach, Calif. Mrs. Baehr, who was in her 80s, had lived in Los Angeles for about 30 years. Her husband, Herman C. Baehr, who unseated Tom L. Johnson as mayor in 1909, died in 1942. He was mayor for one term. She was born Rose E. Schulte in Rochester, Pa. She spent her early years in Cincinnati, where her family was in the ham canning business. She belonged to American-German organizations during her life in Cleveland. She and Mr. Baehr spent summers here at Hotel Cleveland until his death. She had no close relatives. Two nephews are Albert M. Baehr, 1088 Kenneth Drive, Lakewood, and J. Harry Killius, Sarasota, Fla. Funeral services will be held in Los Angeles.
