MARRIAGE: unknown Manitoba newspaper (1903) [ edited ]

"One of the prettiest of weddings in the vicinity of Neepawa this month was that of Mr. W. Adamson to Miss Jennie O. Brooks on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 11th in the presence of many relatives and a number of friends. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grosvenor Brooks, Acton, and was performed by the Rev. Mr. Egan, uncle of the bride, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Peacock, of Eden.
The groom is well known and universally respected by his hosts of acquaintances. He has for several years been a resident of Rosedale municipality, being one of the sons of the late councillor, S. Adamson. The bride has spent several years in the Acton district, and has endeared herself to all who have enjoyed her acquaintance. Mr. and Mrs. Adamson will reside at Acton. The couple was handsomely remembered by their friends in the way of many valuable and appropriate gifts, as well as sincere good wishes and congratulations. May their lives be full of happiness and contentment."
