"Delores P. Barnes
Delores P. (Lesniak) Barnes, 80, of Greensburg, formerly of New Stanton, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Feb. 1, 1931, in West Newton, a daughter of Frank and Clara (Tobin) Lesniak.
Prior to her retirement, Delores was employed as an office manager for a physician's office in New Stanton. She took great joy in preparing meals for her family and baking for the holidays.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas R. Barnes, on April 3, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Lucosky) Morrison and husband, Donald, of Dunbar; a sister, Ruth (Lesniak) Simpson and husband, Rick, of New Port Richey, Fla.; two aunts, Darlene (Tobin) Bowen and husband, William, of West Newton, and Marlene (Tobin) Sherrill, of Summerville, S.C.; three nephews, Timothy, Kevin and Glenn Lesh, of Independence, Ohio; and a stepson, Thomas E. Barnes and wife, Freda, of Yellville, Ark.
A private service was held with interment in West Newton Cemetery. J. William McCauley Jr. Funeral Home Inc., West Newton, is in charge of the arrangements."
