Producer, Director, Screenwriter, Actor, and Narrator. A multi-talented individual, Hibler was educated at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), appearing on Broadway during the 1930s, and in films from 1938 to 1942. Writing for radio, film, and stage productions, he joined the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) in 1954. Hibler also collaborated with numerous musical writers, in addition to solo songwriting. Walt Disney through his Disney Studios used his distinctive narration style on the films "The Living Desert" (1953), "The Vanishing Prairie" (1954), "The Wind in the Willows" (1949), among many others, and for the "It's a Small World" attraction soundtrack album. Disney Studios honored him as a Disney Legend on Oct. 21, 1993.
