announced the passing of Mrs. Mayme (Lehnert) Lawson, the mother of Capt. Ted Lawson, US Army Air Force, who piloted one of the 16 B-25 Mitchell Bombers which participated in the World War II April 18, 1942 bombing raid on Tokyo, Japan, in response to the recent sneak attack on Pearl Harbor.
Mayme Lehnert had married Theodore W. Lawson on 16 November 1912 in Pasadena, Calif.

Mayme died in her home at 2218 ½ Vineyard Ave. on Wednesday 6 January 1943
Besides her son, she is survived by three sisters Mrs. Helen Lewis, Mrs. Gertrude Cox and Mrs. Clara Wheeler and three brothers Edward, Henry and Albert Lehnert
Interment is today, January 11, 1943 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California.
