Mrs. Meta Maxson Mueller was the only daughter of Willis Edw. Maxson, Vice President and General Superintendent of the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe RR, headquartered in Galveston. Presumably she was with her family on Ave. M 1/2 during the Great Storm of 1900.

Her husband Richard, was the son of Ullrich Mueller, Swiss Consul in Texas and a native of Winterthur, Switzerland. He died age 29. His widow and daughter, Maurine, moved to the Los Angeles where they continued to live. Her son-in-law Ferrell Larue's name also appears on her tombstone.

Of interest, her obituary in the LOS ANGELES TIMES notes that she was a retired artist, though no further information appears on Askart.com or other standard sources.

Very little is known of her later husband, surname Robertson. In the 1940 US Census she is listed as an interior decorator, divorcee and partner of her housemate Edith Heald.
