FRUITLAND PARK — Robert Gene Allen, 76, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012.

Mr. Allen was born in Pompano Beach. He moved to Fruitland Park from Pompano Beach in 1969. He was an owner/operator of a landscaping business and was a retired maintenance director for the city of Fruitland Park. He was a member of Messianic Beth Tefillah, Clermont, and the Kiwanis Club of Lady Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Mary M.; son, Robert G. Allen Jr., Okahumpka; daughters Zonda Morris, Coleman, and Anne Livingston, Oxford; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Shiloh Cemetery, Fruitland Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beth Tefillah, 202 Hatteras Ave., Clermont, FL 34711.

Arrangements are under the direction of Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake.

He moved to Fruitland Park from Pompano Beach, Fl in 1969. He was an owner/ operator of a landscaping business and was a retired Maintenance Director for the City of Fruitland Park, FL. He was a member of Messianic Beth Tefillah, Clermont, FL and the Kiwanis Club of Lady Lake, FL.
