Phyllis Shively Wimsatt, 75, of Sterling Court, Owensboro, died Thursday, June 15, 1989, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She was born in Daviess County, was a housewife, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Oldham L. Wimsatt; a son, Milton S. Wimsatt of Owensboro; three daughters, Margaret Read of Fort Myers, FL, Jane Mischel of Acton, MA, and Faye Booth of Owensboro; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Roberta Coleman of Owensboro. Services are at noon Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Stanley. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation from 1-8 p.m. today and from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home, where prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today.
