Jackson, SC—Funeral Services for Mrs. Ada Lee Gilbert, 92, of Fourth Street, who entered into rest February 18, 2012, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Matlock Baptist Church. Dr. Mark Riser officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Gilbert was a native of Cooley Springs, SC, having made Jackson her home for the past 61 years. She was a member of Matlock Baptist Church and the TEL Sunday School Class. Mrs. Gilbert was wife of the late Clifton H. Gilbert and grandmother of the late Clifford Golden and Frank Golden.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Patricia Gilbert, Cross Hill, SC; a daughter, Mary Golden, New Bern, NC; two sisters, Evie Jones, Aiken, SC and Dora Alice Lowe, Chesnee, SC; three grandchildren, Tiffany Miller, Mischelle Guthrie and Michael H. Gilbert; 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Deacons of Matlock Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
