A funeral will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 for 83 year old Esther Bachmann of Perryville, who died Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Independence Care Center of Perry County.
Esther was born November 1, 1926 in Farrar, the daughter of Ernst H. and Bertha Katherine (Luehrs) Mueller.
She married Orville Bachmann on May 21, 1949. He survives in Perryville.
She is also survived by two sons: David Bachmann of Deer Park, Illinois and Roy Bachmann of St. Louis; four daughters: Sharon Bachmann of Springfield, Glenda Bachmann of Gladstone, Sandra Bachman of Kansas City, and Charlene Bachmann of Hoyleton, Illinois; one brother: Armin Mueller of Perryville; seven sisters: Oneida Mahnken of Steeleville, Illinois, Thelka Mueller, Mildred Bachmann, Florence Steffens and Elinor Roth all of Perryville Agnes Martin of Salem and Eunice Roth of Frohna; a sister in law: Wilma Mueller of Perryville; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Erwin and four brothers in law, Ernst Mahnken, Cleo Martin, Vernon Bachmann and Raymond Roth.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, September 23rd and 6:30-8 a.m. Friday, September 24th at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 83-year-old Esther Bachmann of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown. The Rev. Roger Abernathy will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
